An embattled traditional ruler in Edo, the Ujoromi of Uromi, Zaiki Edenojie II, who was as of late suspended for seven days by government over affirmed assault on All Progressives Congress lady, Mrs Betty Okoebor, has offered open expression of remorse as requested by the state government.

The expression of remorse letter was dated 28th, October, 2016 and tilted Re: Suspension from Office as Traditional Ruler of Uromi Kingdom.

Parts of the letter peruses: "Taking after the declaration of my suspension for 7 days from the position of authority of the Onojie of Uromi and the going with final offer, I wish to express that at no time did I mean to lack of respect or parade (sic) constituted power. I felt that the fight on 28th September 2016 amongst me and one of little girls (sic) which I took to be a family undertaking, and which has been determined, sufficed.

Zaiki Anslem Edenogie said as per custom, Mrs Betty Okoebor, has since accommodated herself with the royal residence as a girl.

"I truly apologize to the State Government for not answering the question inside the stipulated time and for not acquiring consent before I went outside the nation furthermore for the determined squabble amongst me and my little girl, Ms Betty Okoebor.

"Give me a chance to repeat Your Excellency that I perceive and regard the power of the Edo State Government with you, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, as the Executive Governor, and I again promise my unalloyed dependability."

The state Government had a week ago put in suspension request on the conventional ruler for seven days and debilitated to removed him inside 72, hours on the off chance that he declines to offered expression of remorse in a letter marked by Secretary to the State Government, Prof Julius Ihonvbere.
