Affirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria arrived at 305 on Friday as Easter festivals start the world over with individuals stuck inside.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control made this known by means of its Twitter handle on Friday.
It tweeted, “17 new instances of #COVID-19 have been accounted for as follows: eight in Lagos, three in Katsina, two in FCT, one in Niger, one in Kaduna, one in Anambra and one in Ondo.
“As of 09:30 pm on the tenth of April, there are 305 affirmed cases, 58 released, seven passings.”
Giving a state-by-state breakdown of the cases, NCDC stated, “Right now, Lagos has 163 cases, FCT-56, Osun – 20, Edo – 12, Oyo – 11, Bauchi – six, Akwa Ibom – five, Ogun – 7, Kaduna – six, Enugu – two, Ekiti – two, Rivers – two, Kwara – two, Delta – two, Benue – one, Ondo – two, Katsina – four, Niger – one, and Anambra – one.”
The NCDC clarified that three cases recently recorded for Lagos State have been moved to Ogun.
“Three cases recently included as Lagos state’s cases have been moved to Ogun state. The three cases live in satellite towns in Ogun near Lagos.
“Along these lines, Lagos has announced 163 affirmed cases while Ogun State has detailed seven affirmed cases,” it included.
In the mean time, more than 1.6 million individuals have been contaminated far and wide and the loss of life hit 100,661 on Friday, as indicated by the World Health Organization insights.
